Mana Pool can import CSVs in several formats. When importing, there are options to update or add to your listings. CSVs can be imported to add to or update your inventory in your seller dashboard here: manapool.com/seller/inventory/import
Supported formats include:
- TCGPlayer App
- tcgplayer.com
- ManaBox App
- Mana Pool Native
- Robots
- TCGMachines Phyzbatch
- CardCastle CardBot
- Roca
CSVs from the TCGPlayer App
If you scan your cards with the TCGPlayer app, you can generate a CSV to import into Mana Pool.
Make sure to do the following:
- In Settings in the TCGPlayer app
- set your exports to be CSV (the default is Text)
- include the Price Each column in your exports
The required columns are:
- SKU
- Quantity
- Price Each
CSVs from tcgplayer.com
Level 4 sellers on TCGPlayer can export CSV files. Here is their help page about how to export.
Because our uploader has options to Add to or Update your inventory, the Add to column in these exports is ignored. The columns our importer requires/uses are:
- TCGPlayer Id
- Total Quantity
- TCG Marketplace Price
- You may optionally include My Store Price to override TCG Marketplace Price
CSVs from ManaBox App
You can import CSVs exported from the ManaBox app into Mana Pool.
- For price on Mana Pool, we use the Purchase price column from ManaBox, so you may wish to edit your prices after you export the CSV, or input a sale price into ManaBox instead of what you paid for the card.
- For condition, we translate the conditions as follows: Mana Box mint is mapped to NM on Mana Pool, near mint is mapped to LP, excellent is mapped to MP, good is mapped to MP, light played is mapped to HP, played is mapped to HP, and poor is mapped to DMG.
CSVs from Mana Pool
If you already have inventory on Mana Pool and wish to update many items, the inventory page lets you export a CSV, which you can edit, then import back in to update your listings.
How to Generate CSVs from Sorters/Robots
Card sorting machines made by the following companies generate CSVs that can be imported into Mana Pool:
Sample CSVs to Hand Edit
You can edit these sample CSVs to hand-make an import:
- a minimal stub you can edit: stub CSV
- an actual export you can inspect or edit: actual sample CSV
A few notes on how prices are set:
- you must include the "My Store Price" column
- you may omit the "TCG Marketplace Price" column
- if you include both price columns, "My Store Price" will override "TCG Marketplace Price" in the rows you set a value
