Most single cards are listed on Mana Pool based on just the card info and condition.

For unique cards, sellers can create listings that include pictures, descriptions, and tags. This can include cards such as high end vintage where subgrade condition matters, or cards like misprints, signed cards, and altered cards.

What to List

Only list cards as unique with pictures if there is a good reason not to list them the normal, non-picture way.

This typically spans:

• Altered, misprinted, signed, graded, serialized, and other one-of-a-kind items
• Any $100+ card is OK, but especially photos are good for $100+ vintage cards (1993/1994 era cards)
• Cards where you feel its better to photograph and describe a defect in the card, rather than specify condition (like an expensive foil with scratches, or a slightly damaged chase rare)

What Not to List

Don't spam picture listings with lots of non-interesting items, especially items that should just be listed the normal way.

We may remove items we don't feel belong on the site, and we may warn or ban you if we find you are being spammy.

Picture Guidelines

Listings may be removed if they have poor or deceptive photos. Photos guidelines are:

• include at least one front and one back pic
• make the picture well-lit, clear (not blurry), and have the card fill most of the frame
• notes on sleeves/cases:
  • avoid picturing cards solely in sleeves or hard cases (this will help avoid buyers saying photos were not clear)
  • if you are listing a a card without stating the condition, you should definitely include clear, unsleeved pictures

A Note on Signatures

Take care to only list signed cards you are confident are legitimate.

For items that flow through Mana Pool for authentication, we will not affirmatively authenticate signatures, but sellers who knowingly or repeatedly sell fake signatures will be banned.
